The Life Of The Party actress left her black winter attire at home to model a beige-and-white blouse with white slacks and open-toe sandals when she stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Oscar nominee was spotted leaving Urban Outfitters carrying a pillow in an overstuffed shopping bag. 

As she made her way to her car after the shopping spree, Melissa was seen wearing white flared pants with a loose fitted light beige top.

Enjoying the rising Los Angeles temperatures, McCarthy showed her toes in brown Birkenstock sandals.

Stocking up on a trolley load of necessities, the award winner was seen pushing her cart through the parking lot of the discount store.

Melissa was pictured with Vivian, 11, and Georgette, eight, her daughters from her 14-year marriage to Ben Falcone, 45.

Last month Melissa glammed up for the Oscars, where she was nominated for a second time, going up for best actress for her portrayal of Lee Israel in Can You Ever Forgive Me?

It later emerged that she had taken over the role after Julianne Moore was fired by the movie's screenwriter Nicole Holofcener. 

'Can You Ever Forgive Me? was nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Actress for Melissa, Best Supporting Actor for Richard E. Grant and Best Adapted Screenplay, but did not win any statuettes.

They first met when they were at the famous improvisation theater, The Groundlings in Los Angeles.   

'We immediately were improvising with each other and immediately gravitating toward each other, writing-wise,' Melissa recalled.

They she talked about one of their early skits, 'The first day, everybody’s doing their biggest, probably most unrealistic, poorly done characters. And Ben got up there and did this very strange inmate that sat on a chair quietly. I just thought it was the funniest thing. I thought: I like that creepy guy.'
