At less than 18 pounds with a battery, the new Milwaukee Force Logic 15T Crimper is the lightest 15T crimper on the market. Combined with its inline design, rotating head, and centered grip, Milwaukee’s new crimper targets muscle strain and fatigue that comes with other models.

The weight and balance of this electricians tool are big talking points with this new crimper. Since most 15T crimpers are front-heavy, they usually also cause a fair amount of muscle strain. To keep fatigue and long-term use injuries down, you normally use two hands on a standard 15T crimper.

That’s not the case here. Milwaukee is keeping the weight under 18 pounds, making it the lightest option currently available. The grip shifts to help balance the tool out for one-hand use.

There’s also a 350° rotating head, allowing your wrist to stay neutral instead of making you twist into an awkward position.

Finally, a quick release and push-to-close pin provide easier access around splices and in crowded spots.

The new Force Logic Crimper also features an adaptive pressure control system called Predictive Force Monitoring. It constantly measures force output and delivers consistent speed, making sure that the tool doesn’t bog down on your larger connectors.

A green LED confirms you hit the correct and a pre-crimp battery check makes sure that the battery has enough power to finish any job that it starts.

You can couple the Milwaukee Force Logic 15T Crimper with any standard P-dies and P-to-U die adapters. A 5.0 Ah battery gives you up to 90 crimps per charge and you can expect consistent performance in temperatures from -18°C/0°F to 55°C/122°F.

The electronics package is sealed off, keeping dust, dirt, and moisture out. Milwaukee isn’t saying if it carries a specific IP rating, but they do tell us that they expect it to have the longest life among your current options.

The Force Logic Crimper operates on Milwaukee’s One-Key platform. You can sync the tool to your mobile device or computer and upload tool data and history to create custom reports that track the pressure and timing of every crimp. It’s an efficient way to hand your project manager or inspector the number of complete crimps to compare against the plans. Beyond that, you can track and inventory the tool.
